Entitled
The Wind rejects my cautions, having seen cares of its own
Free of desperate notions, by its breath are often blown
In treat so sweet in defeat's relish, new stories to embellish
With terror's trio and Rio's innocence, to dawn we limp in recompense
Naught leagues gone bye a virgin cry, poured fourth an angry lullaby
To sleep not dream and scream's held tight, escape the dark another night
What verse repeat in castle's plight, damsel's set in barbarian's sight
To quiet heart's of danger's eye, providing the twain an alibi
So soon to dawn in love's release, The echo's holler seldom cease
To fiery moment in quest relent, taste of virtue heaven sent
To wishes cure and luck's pretense, no spice at all of common sense
We three this will intensify, give wicked want in short supply
To road's relief our feet beat street, waving bye to those we meet
Retreat in health to fight again, Lord alone knows where and when
To dire care commit this life, to children happy or hopeful wife
And when pray tell the next begins, We already know who always wins
