full of self concern
Decorated projections
For which we hem and yearn

Jealousy and passion
wrestling cousins on the farm
Both want and want and want
Another shot into each arm

Fame is empty baggage
Dust and clotting air
Invited Tuesday morning
to tea with none who care

Achievement has no winner
as it fades in disrepair
Bell, whistle, chicken dinner
Freedom in a snare
