Directives
Tell them I'm coming
With no horns or drumming
To fulfill, all promised
The list has been made
Regardless of grade
Price has been paid
and established
So don't mess around
When My feet touch
that ground
Be found doing
the tasks of your purpose
I am patiently waiting
abrogating to the brides
of my temple
All authority
and strength
to rule for the length
of their waiting
Trust joy, truth and love
but not with Kid's glove
as these decisions
require maturity
and reason
I will provide
and come to your side
when the time
to be with you
arrives

I love your poetry! It's so poignant and direct. Your messages are very clear and concise, and still it's open to interpretation. This one is beautiful, assuming love as it's derivative, it speaks to some sort of emotional connection that doesn't require falling in love, but love that exists regardless. Perhaps a privilege and obligation wrapped into one? It's wonderful!
A question for you? Have you considered playing around with your poetic style? Lineating your poems differently, or even writing them in prose form? It could bring a new dimension to your body of work! Your work is already beautiful. This is merely a suggestion for you to consider. Not a critique or a judgement!
I miss you. I hope things are going well! Any plans to come back to CO?
