Bungled

Waves pulse the shore
Sounding for depth and moor
Scattering for safety
Reluctant for the darkened deep

But in the power treasure
Beyond our greatest measure
Fighting for fancy
To the never ending sleep

Again the glass contains
Against the mounting strains
Knowing the learning
In the resistance of the flesh

All the hunger pains
Your stomach's mind restrains
Quenched yearning
Caught in the netted mesh
