Why it was said

I thought I bought what I had always wanted
I sought I thought what all men desire
Fear once again has become victorious

I dance in a trance to the trough or bucket
I romance with chance and pray for hope
Fear of one side versus the other

A child seeking blindly for suckle
Deniled and fooled to false comfort
Fear says beware of the source

I take the hand when offered
I smack it away because it's soft
Fear dances alone at the party

I make my stance to be strong
I can see that it's outdated and wrong
Fear forces voices to silence

He said I will always be there
I know each piece of your hair
Fear of the fire I stand frozen

I wish for strength in my weakness
And discover nothing but meakness
Fear of seeing my design

So I pine for the top of the tree
Sitting silent so they don't see
Fear guides me not wisdom
