You

I miss you
For the things you created in my heart and the heart that you created
I miss your words, your dreams and that unique understanding of our world
Your laugh, your smile, your force
And rage at the demons that had battled with you
The secrets that you told
Of how these things could be tamed if one possessed intention
I miss your intelligent explanation of science, emotion and descriptions of freedom
All the things that you did I watched
All the sketches you made I etched into my memory
All of the people that loved you
Have not erred
I look for you in the stars because I know that there you reside
And in my life, my soul, my dreams and actions
you are repeated
I carry the force of your life
delivering me through times
when I would have failed
You are the only man I will ever call Father
And me, your son am proud
To have been graced to share a life with you as my Dad
