If they taught these things in school
Those of us who had lost our way
Would find ourselves with promise

If hope were handed out at dinner
Those who disbelieved providence
Would find themselves established

If feedback this persistant
Gave us secrets to our worry
Peace would fill the hearts of children

If we woke up each and every morning
With cliff notes to our challenge
Getting answers would be easy

If I'm thankful for the guidance
Then maybe whoever gives it
Would make sure that I do well

If I spent many years without it
Then faced with a decision
Would I prefer the light or dark?

And if someone showed you the answers
Would you call them a false witness?
Then toss their words aside
