Things

All that I have done before I am completely accountable for.
The lives I have affected with lies cannot be neglected.
The dreams I have cut short whether for reason or for sport.
For meanness and arrogance I must face each circumstance.
The errors are all mine like leaves upon a strangling vine.
And words as sharp as steel this inquiry will all reveal.
The fights I began or ended will be documented and amended.
The sins against my friends and the message that it sends.
Exploitations that I sought and machinations that I wrought.
Greed that I displayed this debt too must be paid.
The twisted, tangled truth of a misbegotten youth.
The stresses that I brought and the thievery not caught.
The anger that I raged and all the animals I've caged.
The women and children that I've wronged who thought that they belonged.
Desires that I fed and then brought them to my bed.
Disobedience I carried aloft when my character was soft.
The trust I violate or the wounds that I create.
All will be seen in the light no other way to make it right.
