Rollercoaster

You try in this life to keep an even keel, but occassionally something crops up unexpectedly and you have to turn hard to port. Ahh, there in lies the learning. Without obstacles in the bay you never get out to the open seas of smooth sailing, and even then you can't just go to sleep at the helm. You've got to plan your route, watch for other ships and scan the horizon to avoid coming storms. See life is a rollercoaster, because just when you think you are going nice, flat and steady suddenly you hit a curve or take a precipitous drop that makes your stomach clog your throat. It's not that I want to ride the rollercoaster and I would much prefer something a lot more stable like a carriage ride in the woods. Which we are sometimes given. But most of life is an ever changing, nerve testing, excitement building whew that was fun, adventure. If you want status quo or to stay in the same spot eternally happy then you've entered the wrong dimension. This life has only one guarantee and that is change, and if you don't learn how to enjoy the ride it will always make you throw up.
