Do you have it?

It takes courage to be courageous and innocence to be pure. Many souls will do the searching but only one will find the cure. Do the old ghosts still come to haunt you or can you barely recall, their moans and frightening shadows cast upon the wall? Are you surely grounded in the things that you believe or do you find your solace in all that you achieve? When the wind yells out your surname do you seek a place to hide? Do you stand and scream right back with the strength of heart inside? All things are not meant for you even though they seem quite sweet, but that's not what your tongue will tell you when it really wants a treat. Do your dreams come in succession or do you just want to ignore the messages that they send you or what they are truly for? I could have had a dozen but one is all I need, reason is so much safer than desire, want and greed. What happens on the inside is what matters in the external world not if your sword is silver or its grip is jeweled and pearled. The angle you approach it depends on the course of action in your plan. Are you on the field displaying your talents or on the sidelines as a fan? New ways take some changes and yes sometimes show you the ways of pain, but you'll find you've got great footing on the new foundation that's been lain. Then old things will come to visit to remind you where you were. Does it still hurt and change your breathing when you think of him or her? See it takes pride to be arrogant and helplessness to be weak but if it's answers you are wanting then you must first decide to seek.
