If you don't like it then you can change it
If it doesn't look right just rearrange it
But Somethings fall outside of your control
They take the pieces that made you whole
Now you're left with less than half
A shattered frame with a photograph
Just yesterday the sun was bright
Then chaos entered overnight
Someone you cared for is quickly gone
On this chess board you feel the pawn
You lash out but find wind chimes
Grasp at the memories of better times
And all the tears of wishes fall
So much worse when you can't recall
You get frustrated and scream real loud
You sit exhausted your head is bowed
It makes you madder when they say to you
It was the only thing that they could do
And they expect that you'll move quickly on
They don't understand that your heart is gone
