Standing out

Tell me how to hide a purple tiger?

In verdant grass and azure sky

Perhaps he’ll fit in if we dye him?

When blending is not worth the try

How can a boulder be polished?

When its shape was divinely intended

To hold on to mountain or crevice

With all of the rocks it’s befriended

How does one gain new perspective?

When the future is always unknown

Do you give up something to get there?

Or is it added to all that you own?

Is there a race that’s worth the running?

Because it leads to a fulfilling finish

How do you use what you’re becoming?

To create what will never diminish

Will you tell them what the wind whispers?

Or hint that you know of the plan

Are you satisfied with just being different?

Can you live as an ordinary man?

Some pieces form another puzzle

How they fit is not easily known

A part to some new type of engine

Some glass that’s yet to be blown

So be just as you’ve been crafted

Purple, black, orange or white

No bird is alone while he’s flying

Can you see a tiger’s purple at night?
